"Every little step counts"

Discussion, advice and ecological footprint calculation on the importance of individual action in the fight against climate change.
Climate change is the most important challenge of our time. Slowing down these alarming processes and mitigating their environmental, economic and social consequences is key. The path towards climate neutrality and a healthy environment will not be easy. We all make choices every day about what we consume, where and how we travel, how we live. Every choice is an opportunity to move towards a more sustainable, better future, but it is also a huge responsibility. As a participant in the Green Rights for a Sustainable Future project, we are trying to gather good examples that will help to keep our planet livable.
Clean Air Action Group will also be at the Vasas in Józsefváros, during the Neighbourhood Festival with its many interesting activities. We welcome all interested residents, students, NGO and municipal colleagues, not only from the neighbourhood. Participants will be able to share their thoughts on the impact of personal action, good and bad habits in individual or small group discussions. Clean Air Action Group staff will be happy to advise on this or other environmental issues, and there will also be an opportunity to try out the carbon footprint calculation model recently developed by the University of Turin.
Date: Sunday 29. September 2024, 10.00-15.00
Location: Neighbourhood Festival, Vasas köz, VIII. district, Budapest
